Android Device Manager si arricchisce di nuove funzioni
Tutti i possessori di dispositivi Android conoscono Android Device Manager, l’utile tool che permette di rintracciare il proprio telefono qualora fosse stato smarrito o rubato.
Da oggi, a cominciare dagli stati Uniti, il tool si arricchisce di un paio di nuove funzioni che vanno ad aggiungersi a quelle già conosciute e che permettono di resettare il dispositivo da remoto o di farlo suonare per capire dove sia. Adesso si potrà, attraverso il nuovo pulsante “lock”, di bloccare il telefono attraverso l’uso di un password, spegnere il display fino al completamento del processo di blocco e, ovviamente, cambiare la password utilizzata. I comandi, qualora il telefono non fosse connesso alla rete, saranno inoltrati al primo collegamento eseguito. Un bel passo avanti, quanto meno per la protezione dei propri dati personali, non credete?

From now on, starting from United States, the tool has been enhanced with a couple of new features to be added to those already known and which allow you to reset the device from remote, to make it ringing to figure out where it is. Now you can, through the new button “lock”, to lock your phone through the use of a password, turn off the display until the end of lock and, of course, change the password used. The commands, if the phone is not connected to the network, will be forwarded to the first connection to be provided. A big step forward, at least for the protection of personal data, don’t you think?
